2010 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

Nomination papers for the upcoming Municipal Elections are available at the Township office during regular working hours.
The final day for filing nomination papers is September 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm

Members will be elected for the following Municipal Offices:
Mayor (one elected by all electors)
Councillors (six to be elected by wards - one councillor per ward)

Introduction

With the welcome assistance of community members, the Township of Black River-Matheson has created a Strategic Plan. This plan determined the direction of future development in the municipality. All interested stakeholders and citizens were invited to participate in public meetings and focus groups or participate by completing our strategic planning survey.
