The office staff is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization such as tax, water, sewer and miscellaneous billings, budgets, financial analysis, year ends etc, for the Township of Black River - Matheson.

  • We administer lottery applications under the regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission.
  • We manage all aspects of the Cemetery Committee which entails mapping of cemeteries, selling plots, arranging burials, installation of headstones and all records management.
  • We ensure all vital statistics are properly administered for our municipality.
  • The office is the Ambassadorship of the municipal operation. We ensure full customer support services in an efficient and effective manner.
  • We administer all of the policies enacted by council.
