Family: married to Sylvia (Dambrowitz) a fourth generation resident of Matheson; proud father of Michael, Mark and Nancy and Grandfather of five grandchildren.

Education: Electronic Engineering Technologist graduate from Ryerson University; attended Ottawa and Carleton Universities and the University of California at Santa Barbara taking courses in accounting, business, and project management.

Career: first worked in BR-M in 1957 at the Kempis Mountain Mid-Canada Line site; retired in 1997 after a 36-year career in Research & Development and International business development; I then consulted in Business Process Re-Engineering, Quality and Business Management; became the Vice-President Professional Services and General Manager of an Ottawa-based high tech company; became CEO and President of a startup company, Circa 2100 Wireless Services Inc.; first elected Mayor in 2006; re-elected in 2010.
